Xerxes

The Greek struggle against Persian tyranny reaches a decisive point after the destruction of the city of Sardis and the Battle of Marathon. In a military campaign to annihilate the city of Athens, Xerxes, the Persian prince, witnesses the defeat of his father, Darius, on the battlefield. Xerxes, now king, is determined to conquer the world to avenge his father and create an empire unlike any other... in his path, however, stands Alexander the Great, the king of Macedonia, and this could be the beginning of the end for this incredible empire.
